May 20–22, 2025 marked a significant milestone for Autonoma as we proudly exhibited for the first time at a major international show—the ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo Europe in Stuttgart, Germany. With an ambitious product launch, thought leadership sessions, and a fresh perspective on simulation technology, Autonoma firmly staked its place among industry innovators.

Stepping Onto the Global Stage

The ADAS & AV Expo Europe serves as a premier gathering for OEMs, developers, and technology leaders shaping the future of autonomous mobility. For Autonoma, it represented more than just an event—it was an inflection point. This was our first-ever exhibit at a major industry show, and with it, the public unveiling of Copilot, a new feature integrated into our flagship platform, AutoVerse.

Designed to make high-fidelity digital twin simulation accessible to non-technical users, Copilot empowers users to interact with and modify complex environments using simple, natural-language commands. With this release, we’ve taken a bold step toward democratizing simulation—giving stakeholders from every industry the tools to model, test, and understand complex scenarios without needing to write a line of code.

Meet the Team Behind the Momentum

Autonoma’s booth was led by a cross-functional dream team, each bringing their own expertise and energy: Dr. Sebastian Huch, Head of Research and Development and recent doctoral graduate from TUM; Kyle Connor, Vice President of Sales; Matthew Tinker, Lead Engineer and Jasaun King, Marketing Director.

Dr. Huch’s insights on the evolving role of simulation in autonomous systems development were spotlighted in two well-attended speaking sessions. Each drew standing-room-only audiences, despite being hosted in smaller theater spaces—underscoring growing interest in Autonoma’s innovative approach to real-world simulation.

“This event was a huge step forward for us—not just in getting Autonoma’s name out there, but in creating meaningful conversations. Whether someone stopped by for a gummy bear or a deep dive into Co-Pilot, we were ready to show how Autonoma’s solutions make real-world autonomy more accessible. The booth gave us presence, but it was the interactions that gave us momentum.” - Kyle Connor, Vice President of Sales.

“The energy around simulation technology was incredible, and it was exciting to see such strong interest in Co-Pilot. Being able to speak about the future of autonomous systems in front of full rooms—and then continue the conversation at our booth—was a rewarding experience. There’s clearly a need for tools that bring simulation into the hands of more people, and that’s exactly what we’re building.” - Sebastian Huch, Head of Research and Development.

What Can't Your Simulation Do?

While many exhibitors leaned into flashy displays and technical jargon, Autonoma took a different route. Our booth invited curiosity with the bold question: “What can’t your simulation do?” This quirky, thought-provoking prompt turned out to be a conversation catalyst. Visitors were eager to explore how AutoVerse and Copilot addressed pain points they hadn't yet solved.

The demo of Copilot was a highlight. Attendees engaged with it hands-on—adjusting traffic conditions, environmental factors, and road systems in real-time with nothing more than intuitive prompts. The immediate feedback and usability of the platform left a lasting impression. For many, it was their first glimpse at how simulation could move beyond engineers and empower planners, policymakers, and strategists.

Lessons Learned and Brand Image

While this debut didn’t result in an explosion of leads, it succeeded in what it set out to do: put Autonoma on the map. We increased awareness of our brand, sparked meaningful conversations, and gained valuable insights into how users are thinking about simulation in 2025 and beyond. We also saw measurable growth in our online community, with new followers engaging across our social media platforms.

Most importantly, this event provided the opportunity to assess where we shine—and where we can sharpen our strategy for future shows. It wasn’t perfect, but it was the perfect place to grow.

Industry Insights: A Race Toward Immersive Realism

One recurring theme throughout the expo was the pursuit of immersive realism. Across the board, industry leaders emphasized the need for simulation platforms to mirror real-world conditions with precision—not just in visuals, but in behavior and data fidelity. Rather than generalist tools, decision-makers are seeking platforms that offer depth in critical areas, whether traffic modeling, sensor emulation, or environment adaptability.

While many companies are converging on this challenge, the need for a comprehensive, user-friendly simulation platform remains unmet. Autonoma’s presence made it clear that we’re not just keeping pace—we’re carving a new path forward.

Looking Ahead

From packed speaking sessions to dynamic conversations sparked by our approachable booth, the ADAS & AV Expo was a strong step forward. We left Stuttgart more inspired, more connected, and more committed to building tools that push the boundaries of what simulation can do.
